Joint List and Ra’am sign surplus-vote agreement

The Joint List and the United Arab List (Ra’am) signed a surplus-vote agreement ahead of the elections in a bid to prevent votes from going to waste.

Under the agreement, the parties pledged to conduct a “fair and clean election campaign” and refrain from smears, defamation and incitement. The agreement will be submitted to the Central Elections Committee after the candidate lists are approved.
